Contact tracing unite against COVID-19

To stop the spread of COVID-19, the Ministry of Health traces contacts of anyone who has been exposed to COVID-19. Recording people’s movements helps them do this quickly and efficiently.

Up to level 2 all organisations except retail had to record details of all staff and visitor activity on their premises. In level 1 this is no longer required but organisations are encouraged to display a QR code poster to help people keep a diary of their activity.

If you are a public facing organisation that has visitors or staff coming on site, you can generate a QR code poster for your premises. You can do this using Business Connect if your organisation has a New Zealand Business Number or by contacting the Ministry of Health for assistance here

The contact tracing information page on the Unite for Recovery website (was Unite against COVID-19) has more detailed information.
