A cost-effective, accessible, Aotearoa New Zealand designed and hosted, online course from Community Networks Aotearoa to help you and your community organisation learn and be recognised for good governance skills and practices.

Completion of the course gives you an NZQA-approved micro-credential (equivalent to 5 credits at Level 3 on the New Zealand Qualifications Framework).

 

Community Networks Aotearoa collaboratively constructed this course with Community Organisations, Learning Partners and the New Zealand Government.

Note: This 10 module course costs $100.00 per person.

Become a Tick For Governance Board

Becoming a Tick For Governance Board means you're all upskilled and speaking the same language.

  • Meetings improve and things are easier.
  • Funders can see that you are committed to the competency surrounding your mahi.

What a Tick For Governance Board is:

  • All committee/trust/board members have successfully completed the course.
  • Your organisation commits, via a policy or resolution, to ensure all current and future governing members complete the course.

Once achieved, your organisation will be able to display the Tick For Governance Board web-badge, proving you're a competent, trained governance group. And remember that you'll get discounts for more people!
