Tūhono Impact - sharing social impact

Created: July 29, 2025 at 1:45 PM | Updated: September 23, 2025 | By NZ Navigator Trust

Tūhono Impact supports organisations across Aotearoa New Zealand to understand, track, and communicate their social impact in ways that are useful to them and their communities.

A free-to-use ‘do it yourself’ resource, Tūhono Impact is a first step in addressing the uncertainty and confusion about the current social investment approach and aims to prepare communities for whatever comes next.

The approach and materials were co-developed with community and kaupapa Māori organisations, evaluators, and researchers.

Tūhono Impact includes practical worksheets and Aotearoa New Zealand examples, moving the toolkit beyond being just a theoretical framework. The toolkit's practical guidance should help identify areas in your organisation where more attention is needed.

The Powerdigm team held this online webinar introduction to Tūhono Impact:

Tūhono Impact was developed by Powerdigm – the for-purpose research and consultancy arm of Inspiring Communities – with philanthropic support and the collaborative knowledge-sharing across the sector.
