This resource focuses on a suggested decision-making process to be used when seeking grant funding for development projects. Included is a flowchart you can adapt (or use as is) to assist you reaching a decision.
Many community organisations rely on funding grants to support one-off and ongoing development projects - this is the first in our series of simple decision-making resources focused on projects. We start with this example process that allows organisation leaders to evaluate and prioritise all proposed projects.

The PDF overview document demonstrates a process that a project team and decision-makers can work through to investigate any development projects. You can adapt it to suit your organisation and project.
Our suggested process for assessing projects requires the preparation of:
- a Project Brief (see separate resource -Example Project Brief) and a
- a Project Budget (see separate resource - Example Project Budget)
Using the information presented, each project is assessed and scored using our:
