Creating an organisation continuity plan

Created: June 28, 2018 at 2:52 PM | Updated: October 5, 2020 | By NZ Navigator

Your organisation continuity plan should contain all of the information you need to get your organisation running again after an incident or crisis.

A business continuity plan can easily be adapted for non-profit organisation risk management planning.

Your organisation's continuity plan may consist of:

  • a risk management plan with impact analysis
  • an incident response plan
  • a recovery plan and
  • a test, evaluate and update schedule.

A template for a business continuity plan can be downloaded here.

There are more resources and templates on the Business Queensland website that can be altered to suit non-profit organisations including information technology risk management, cyber-security and protecting IT systems and data.
