The new Incorporated Societies Act came fully into force on 5 October 2023
To remain on the register, all incorporated societies will need to re-register under the Incorporated Societies Act 2022 (the new Act). You can submit your application for re-registration to MBIE until from 5 October 2023.
Any society that doesn't re-register by April 2026 will no longer exist.
