Competencies for Managers of Volunteers

This area of the Volunteering NZ website is dedicated to supporting and developing managers of volunteers. Volunteering NZ have formalised a learning and development (career) pathway for managing volunteers. 

The key areas of their work in this area are:

  1. Identification and development of key competencies for leaders and managers of volunteers.
  2. Development of a centralised information hub for professional development opportunities.
  3. Development of an Assessment of Prior Learning (APL) system.
